COVID-19 notice                          24th March 2020

AllergySA consulting rooms remain open at present.

If you have a fever or a cough, please do not enter; phone and defer your appointment.

If you have recently returned from overseas or had contact with a person who has COVID-19, please phone and defer your appointment.

New patients may wish to consider the urgency of their condition and defer appointments, please phone in advance. New patients will continue to be seen in the rooms. If you arrive early or your doctor is running late, you may be asked to wait in your car.

If you have a review appointment booked, consider whether this could be conducted by phone.

If you wish to have a telephone consultation, please contact reception well before your appointment to discuss this.

Please note telephone consultations may not be appropriate for all patients.

To reduce the risk of transmission of infection through items in the waiting room, all books, magazines and toys have been removed.

INJECTIONS-

Allergen immunotherapy and biological injections will be continued. In some cases, intervals between injections may be increased to reduce exposure to waiting rooms.

We will be reducing the number of bookings per hour to avoid waiting room crowding. Please adhere to the time of your booking.

Dr Tao will be temporarily ceasing consultations as of Monday, 23 March. Patients will be contacted and rebooked at a later date.
